Christmas and More...

Well it feels like it has been a very long time since my last update. Josh and I have stayed busy visiting family over the holidays and jumping right back into our crazy routines of work and school.
Josh is studying this semester Greek, Old Testament history, Trinitarianism, Intro to New Testament, and as an elective Church Planting. He is blown away by the teachings of his professors and is always excited to share with me all he is learning. God is really doing some work in his life. He is still working part time tutoring Hispanic elementary boys, through a local church after school program. So far one of the little boys has become a Christian and Josh has been able to share a little bit of Jesus with the kids families too.
I am still continuing to enjoy my cardiac nursing job at Baylor Hospital. I feel so blessed to be on a floor with such wonderful ladies to work with. Right now I am doing a Bible study with an older lady on my floor where we study through a book and then talk about it at work.
Josh is also now in the process of training for a Sprint triathlon which he will compete on March 14. He is training with other triathletes at our local gym and building some great relationships through it. I on the other hand, injured my knee this past summer running. So I am going to a physical therapist trying to get it back into shape. Pray that God heals it so I can start running again!!
Here are a few pics of all our fun Christmas parties, family get togethers, and much more.

We had a "Tacky Christmas Party" with our friends here at DTS

Josh and I dressed up as presents and won the "Snowman with a missing arm" annual Christmas trophy

The week before Christmas, my sister Katie and her family, Bryan, Violet and Lyla came to Texas to visit us

Sweet Little Lyla

We went to Santa's Village where Violet and Lyla got a picture with the Christmas Princess

For Christmas we went to North Carolina to visit Josh's Family.
His whole family was able to make it, his younger sister, Mandi, who is a student at Tacoa Falls University in Georgia and his oldest sister Brooke who lives in Arizona with her husband Ryan and baby Holden.

A few weeks ago we went to a rodeo to watch Josh's cousin, Cristan, do horse riding tricks with a group called the "Cowgirl Chicks" (They were amazing!)

Here's a quick video of one of the crazy bull riders. We now feel like we are starting to get the real taste of Texas. :)
