Our first Year

Well Josh and I will have been married for 1 year on March 17th. God has brought us so far and has blessed us with a wonderful first year of marriage. There are many changes coming up in our lives, so we thought it would be nice to have a way to keep everyone updated.
For the past three years Josh has been a youth pastor at Woodville Grace Brethren Church. He has led Jr. High and Sr. High and has seen his group not only grow in numbers, but in their faith in Jesus.
I ,Jenny, am now a nurse working at Med Central Hospital on a Med Surg Telemetry floor. I have definitely been challenged my first year with the amount of information to learn, but have really enjoyed learning and absolutely love being a nurse.
A few months ago, God put on Josh's heart that He wants him to go back to school and get his master's in theology. We prayed about where God wants us to go and slowly he put on our hearts Dallas Theological Seminary. We continued praying, applied, were accepted, and now we are planning on leaving August 1st, 2008. Our first challenge God has given us was to sell our home. The market here in Mansfield, OH is terrible, so we knew for our house to sell it would be a work of God. We spent the whole month of January painting and fixing up the house. We listed February 1st and by God's grace our house sold within three weeks. We feel this was another way that God confirmed to us that Dallas, TX is where he wants us in the fall.
These next few months we plan on living in a double that my mom owns and finishing up strong with the youth group and my job at the hospital. We hope to update you all on this process, so you can be as encouraged as we are with the blessing the Lord has given us.

Here are a few pics of the house in case you were never able to see it

What a great report! Amazing job on the house. Much different than before/during the wedding when all the guys were living there. I've got movies of that somewhere:)

Can't wait to see you guys in the great country of Texas.

BTW, tomorrow night we'll be seeing Josh's mom, dad, and sister in Raleigh. Can't wait!!
Lord's blessings,

Your house is so cute! I love the colors in the living room. I'm excited about your move to Texas and what lies ahead for the two of you. When you come to Virginia, stop in for a visit. Aunt Cindy
